The Stern Center is Currently Hiring the Following Positions

Outpatient Therapist: PT preferably with credentials in commercial insurances such as UBH, UPMC, Aetna

(BSC)Behavioral Specialist Consultant: Masters level clinician who leads the BHRS treatment team. The BSC observes the child in the home, school, and community. They coordinate treatment with various professionals involved with your child including school officials, medical professionals and case managers. They develop the treatment plan and behavioral plan based on the families needs, clinical observations and coordination with other services involved.

(MT)Mobile Therapist: Masters Level Clinician. Mobile Therapy services are individualized counseling services that take place in the home, school, and community. Mobile Therapy services may include “talk therapy,” play therapy, or therapeutic game play. The mode of treatment is determined by the child’s age, and ability to communicate.

(TSS)Therepeutic Support Staff: PT to work in community one on one with children recieving BHRS Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Services. Qualifications: Bachelors or Associates Degree in social services or an Associates degree in an unrelated field with two years of paid experience working in the social service field.

Family Based Mental Health Worker/Professional.Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Mental Health/Social Services field with at least 3 years experience working in Social Services Field. Family Based Therapists work with entire Family for a Short Term (approx 8 months) Intensive in-home Therapy, 24/7 on call crisis, Required to attend/participate in state mandated 3 years of paid training in Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy through W.P.I.C. Western Psychiatric Institute of Counseling.(microsoft word)
